Trusted partnership for energy infrastructure development
The project in Vatra Moldoviței is part of a large-scale initiative to expand and modernize the natural gas distribution network in southern Romania. The operator, one of the most important in the country, manages over 21,000 km of network and supplies gas to 1.9 million customers. The objective is clear: to develop a safe, efficient infrastructure that complies with European energy transition targets.
The need
The customer needed a partner capable of ensuring a continuous flow of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) SDR 11 pipes for different phases of the project, while maintaining the high quality standards that have defined a partnership of over 10 years. The solution had to support network expansion, guarantee long-term safety, and be aligned with European requirements for efficiency and sustainability.
Challenges
The project involved managing phased deliveries to multiple locations without disrupting the supply chain. In addition, compliance with strict standards for natural gas transportation and safety was mandatory, and adapting production and logistics to the pace of long-term investments was a major challenge.

The solution
We supplied HDPE SDR 11 pipes for the distribution network, along with fittings and technical support for implementation. The solutions were designed to guarantee long-term safety and efficiency, complying with all technical requirements and European standards. Deliveries were made according to plan, which allowed for continuity of work and adherence to the expansion schedule.
